What is Biotin Extra Strength?
• Biotin is thought to improve hoof and coat health in horses by promoting development of keratin.
• May improve hoof growth rate and quality of the hoof horn.
• Studies have shown improvement in hoof strength and increased growth rates.
• Long term supplementation is required to generate positive change, this change can be seen within approximately 8 to 15 months.
• Due to the water soluble nature of biotin any excess is excreted from the body, so long-term use is safe
Feeding Guidelines
Add to feed twice daily.
Contains 1000mg Biotin/kg
Morning feed: 1/2 - 1+1/2 x 10g scoops
Evening feed: 1/2 - 1+1/2 x 10g scoops
Based on a 500kg horse. A 5kg tub will last a 500kg horse fed 10g/day 500 days.
Safe for horses or ponies with metabolic issues. Suitable for competition.
