Hartmann's is a sterile polytonic, isotonic fluid that can be used to flush debris (sand, dirt) away from wounds. It is a handy addition to any first-aid kit!
The sterile solution can be used on its own or with antiseptic added to the bag (at appropriate dilution rates). Simply cut the tip and flush the wound bed. Use on its' own, it is a quick and easy wound flush solution to have in an emergency!
