Sticky Trap Horse Fly Trap Glue

Sticky Trap Horse Fly Trap Glue is what makes our traps sticky! The Sticky Trap Glue has been specially developed for catching horseflies, buffalo flies, stable flies, mosquitoes, midges and other biting insects around people and livestock.

Sticky Trap Horse Fly Trap Glue is made from natural minerals, light brown in colour, sticks for a long period (up to 20 weeks!), and will not attract pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies. Sticky Trap Horsefly Trap Glue’s unique recipe makes it water and heat resistant up to 70 degrees Celsius. It is also eco-friendly, pesticide free and completely safe to use!

Paint directly onto a black bucket for catching biting insects and white bucket for catching black flies inside and outside.  0.5 litres covers 10 x 11 litre buckets.

Simply hang the trap 80-100cm from the ground, in a sunny spot so the black bucket will warm up.  Placing the trap in a breezy spot will allow the trap to move in the wind, making the trap irresistible to biting insects.  Finally, paint the outside of the bucket with Sticky Trap Horsefly Glue.  We advise between 3 and 4 traps for 1 hectare (10,000m2) protecting 5 horses.  2 traps would be perfect for a normal size garden.  You can give the bucket a second brush of glue after several weeks for an even thicker sticker coating.

DIRECTIONS:

Simply hang the trap 80-100cm from the ground, in a sunny spot so the black bucket will warm up.  Placing the trap in a breezy spot will allow the trap to move in the wind, making the trap irresistible to biting insects.  Finally, paint the outside of the bucket with Sticky Trap Horsefly Glue.  Apply glue thin (1-2mm) to the outside of the bucket. Wear gloves, it's called sticky for a reason!  We recommend hanging the trap out of reach of your horse or other animals.  However, if the glue gets on your animal's coat or skin, it will cause no harm and will come off in a few days.
